Obsidian Media Group provides publishing and website services. EverStory Literary LLC is the operator responsible for purchases made directly through this shop.
These terms, our Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and published Privacy Policy govern direct-store purchases and use of the shop. Mandatory consumer rights take priority over conflicting provisions.
ADULT-MANAGED PURCHASES
Our products may be intended for children, but purchasing, payment, account management, and marketing subscriptions must be handled by an adult or with appropriate authorization from a parent or legal guardian.
Adults should review product age guidance, suitability, supervision needs, and safety information before allowing children to use merchandise or activities.
PRODUCTS AND EDITIONS
Read the listing before ordering. Listings identify formats, editions, languages, included items, personalization options, and applicable release information.
Paperbacks, hardcovers, ebooks, audiobooks, and merchandise are separate purchases unless expressly included in a bundle.
Minor screen-color or manufacturing variations may occur, but products must materially match their descriptions.
Stories and activities about feelings support storytelling, learning, and discussion. They are not individualized medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.
ORDERS AND PAYMENTS
Provide accurate contact, delivery, and payment information. Prices, currency, applicable shipping charges, and taxes are displayed before payment.
Unless a different arrangement is stated at checkout, payment is collected when an order is placed. Any preorder deposit or installment arrangement is disclosed before purchase.
An automated confirmation acknowledges receipt of an order. If an item is unavailable, a material listing error occurs, or an order cannot lawfully be fulfilled, we will contact you and refund any unfulfilled amount.
We will not charge a higher price or substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
PREORDERS AND LIMITED EDITIONS
Preorders reserve products for later release or fulfillment. The listing provides estimated release or shipping information.
Limited or numbered editions are subject to the limits stated on the product page. A particular edition number is not guaranteed unless explicitly offered.
If a shipping schedule cannot be met, we will notify you and provide applicable delay-consent, cancellation, and refund options.
PERSONALIZATION
Review names, spelling, and dedication instructions carefully. We reproduce approved personalization as supplied.
We may decline unlawful, abusive, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate customization and contact you about an alternative or refund.
PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY
Independent printers and production partners may manufacture and ship products after purchase. Orders may arrive in separate parcels.

DIGITAL CONTENT AND LICENSES
Digital products are licensed for the use stated in their listing. Purchase does not transfer copyright.
Unless a separate license states otherwise, ebooks, audiobooks, printable resources, and other digital purchases permit personal, noncommercial use by the purchaser and their household.
You may not publicly upload, redistribute, resell, share download links to, or commercially reproduce protected digital content without permission, except where permitted by law.
Listed formats, device requirements, required apps, and access restrictions should be reviewed before purchase.
Contact us about defective, unavailable, or misdescribed content. Statutory remedies remain available.
EDUCATORS, LIBRARIES, AND FACILITIES
Physical books may be used in ordinary home, classroom, library, and facility settings, subject to applicable law.
Digital resources may be copied or shared only as allowed by their specific license or applicable copyright exceptions. A personal-use purchase does not automatically provide a school-wide, facility-wide, or multi-user digital license.
Contact reneerose@reneerosebooks.com about institutional licenses, bulk orders, public recordings, broadcasts, or other uses beyond the stated license.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Stories, characters, illustrations, recordings, designs, and other protected materials belong to their respective rights holders.
Rights not expressly licensed remain reserved. Statutory copyright exceptions remain unaffected.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Our shop uses Shopify and may use independent payment, production, shipping, and digital-delivery providers. Their applicable terms may govern use of their platforms.
Using a fulfillment partner does not remove our obligations as the seller. Purchases completed through an independent retailer are governed by that retailer’s sales terms.
RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS
Our Return and Refund Policy explains standard returns, personalized products, digital purchases, preorders, and statutory cancellation rights.
A final-sale description does not remove applicable remedies for faulty, misdescribed, or undelivered products.
PRIVACY AND COMMUNICATIONS
Our published Privacy Policy explains the handling of personal information.
Order confirmations, fulfillment notices, and support messages are transactional communications. Optional marketing is handled according to subscription choices and applicable law.
Please do not submit payment-card details, passwords, or unnecessary sensitive information about a child through support messages or personalization fields.
RESPONSIBILITY AND DISPUTES
We do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restrict mandatory consumer remedies.
Email reneerose@reneerosebooks.com about a concern so we can attempt to resolve it. Nothing here prevents use of applicable courts, regulators, or consumer-dispute procedures.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms and direct-store purchases are governed by Colorado law and applicable United States federal law, except where mandatory consumer protections require otherwise.
This provision does not remove protections or rights to bring proceedings in a location available under applicable consumer law, including protections for customers in the European Union, EEA, and United Kingdom.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Updated terms apply prospectively. The terms supplied when you placed an order continue to govern that purchase unless a lawful change is agreed with you.
